Careers

Small team. Unglamorous problem. Real buyers.

Industrial procurement runs on PDFs, phone calls and tariff schedules. Sambac LLC exists to connect global industry with US manufacturing capability, and SambacAI is the part of that we are automating, for people whose job depends on the answer being right.

The evidence ships with the answer

Every supplier, price and tariff code this product returns traces back to a source a buyer can open. We build the same way: claims come with the thing that backs them.

Small team, whole problems

You will own a problem end to end: the model work, the API, the screen it lands on, and the call with the buyer who found it confusing. Nobody here hands off a half-finished thought.

Boring where it counts

Export compliance and money moving between companies are not places to be clever. We choose the dull, checkable approach in the core and spend the ingenuity on the parts that are genuinely hard.

No open roles listed today.

That is the honest answer, and we would rather give it than run a careers page full of positions nobody is interviewing for. We do read every introduction, and we have hired off one before a role existed. These are the areas where that is most likely to happen.

Backend / agent engineering

Python, LangGraph, the trade APIs. Pipelines that have to be correct on the awkward inputs, not just the demo ones.

Product engineering

Next.js and the run UI. Making a long, evidence-heavy process legible to somebody who has fifteen of them open.

Trade compliance

HTS, ECCN, origin, screening. You know where the classification bodies are buried and can say why a code is wrong.

Procurement operations

You have run this by hand at volume and can tell us exactly where the software is lying to itself.

Send an introductionWhat you have built, and the part of this problem you would want. A link beats a CV. We reply either way.
